The Short Version:
My name is Wendi, and I'm a trauma-informed holistic personal wellness coach who uses yogic philosophy and practices along with CBT, NLP, and more. By creating a safe space for clients and students to explore their shadows and their bodies, I help them get to the root of their issues, transform their habits, and find personal and financial peace and empowerment.
The Long Version:
As a yoga teacher, wellness, and financial coach with a strong background in education, financial planning, and yoga, I am dedicated to helping clients achieve their personal wellness and financial goals. With my many years of experience in these industries, I have developed a deep understanding of the complex issues that affect financial health and overall well-being.
My journey began with a degree and career in education, which taught me valuable skills in teaching, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and many others. After working as a teacher for many years, I discovered a passion for personal finance and began pursuing additional education, training, and a career in financial planning, education, and coaching. I soon learned that the financial industry was NOT for me, but walked away with knowledge and tools for personal financial education and empowerment. I received my life, health, and disability insurance producer licenses, SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 investment licenses, as well as certifications from the NFEC (National Financial Educators Council) as a Certified Financial Literacy Professional (CFLP) and Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI)
I began my yoga journey in 2013, when the culmination of many traumas, burnouts, and decline in my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health reached a tipping point. Over the last 10 years I have found profound solace, healing, and growth by diving deeply into various holistic healing and wellness modalities. Blessed with the extraordinarily transformative experience of completing my 200 HR YTT through Urban Sanctuary, I aim to honor yoga's roots, empower all, and serve the collective. I hold intentional brave space through trauma-informed, somatic yoga and personal wellness coaching, with the intention of gently guiding students into a loving relationship with their bodies and alignment with their True Selves. I believes that yoga is for EVERY body, and I seek to serve those who have been taught that yoga isn't for them, to help other build a strong foundation to support greater ease in their day-to-day life, relationships, and pursuit of their dreams.
I believe that true financial success is about more than just numbers and calculations, and wellness is about more than just eating healthy and exercising. Physical health, emotional health, mental health, spiritual health, and financial health are all inextricably linked. Overall wellbeing requires a holistic approach that honors one's personal values, goals, and lifestyle. By helping clients develop a loving relationship with their bodies and cultivate healthy mindfulness habits, they are positioned to achieve lasting success in all areas of their lives.
